Spark Mk.2 is the Phoenix Racing Team's second competition car. After placing 7th in FSGP 2024, we decided that it would be best to take our findings from building Spark Mk.1 and have a clean sheet approach for the next year. We spent countless hours working on everything from simulations to circuitry to telemetry to prepare the car for its debut in FSGP 2025. As we got closer to competition we were able to take our car to do shakedown tests, where we logged more miles in 1 full day of testing than we did in the entire event last year. Our long nights have been rewarded with a car that we hope can begin our ascendency to the top step of the podium and bring home the trophy to Florida Polytechnic University.
